Terms & Conditions

Customer's satisfaction is very important to us! If you are not satisfied upon receipt, you may return the item(s) within 7 days of receipt for an exchange or refund of the purchase price, (not including shipping charges) provided that the item(s) must be returned in the original condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. Returns will not be accepted or refunded for veils or accessories after the 7 day period and for custom-made veils, as these have been made to a bride's personal specifications and we have no way of offering them to another customer (please see details below on Distance Selling). Please contact us via email first for the return arrangement (See below on Returns). The Headpiece Collection reserves the right to refuse shipments not meeting the 7 day deadline and/or charge a 15% restocking fee.

We do our very best to ship items that are in stock the next working day. All items, including custom-made veils, usually take 2 to 6 weeks, this can increase in high season. If you are at all in doubt about shipping times please email us directly at info@theheadpiececollection.com. If you prefer a rush order (for example if you need your veil or tiara early for dress fittings or hair trials etc.) please let us know by e-mail so we can arrange same - Please note: There will be an additional postage cost for all rush orders. Shipping times are not the same as delivery times. We ship all items (Worldwide) by Registered Post.

If an item(s) is damaged on arrival or gets lost in the post, you can relax, we will track and trace a missing item(s) and offer if possible, an immediate dispatch of a replacement item(s) or a full refund. Any damaged item(s) will be refunded after An Post has concluded their investigation into said damaged item(s). Please note that the post office look in to all damaged and missing goods, so any item(s) deliberately damaged and returned will be deemed as fraud and will be treated as such.

If your item(s) arrives damaged please email us immediately so we can start the refund or exchange process and please hold on to all packaging etc as An Post may request it from you. The Headpiece Collection cannot be held responsible for failure of a customer to sign for a package, or for the package not being picked up from the local sorting office if an attempted delivery was made to the correct address and there was nobody there to sign for it.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers must be redeemed through the The Headpiece Collection's retail Web site, www.theheadpiececollection.com toward the purchase of eligible products. Purchases are deducted from the Gift Voucher balance. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's Gift Voucher account when redeemed. If an order exceeds the amount of the Gift Voucher, the balance must be paid with a credit card or through a paypal account.

Gift Vouchers cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash or applied to any other account, except to the extent required by law. Unused Gift Voucher balances may not be transferred.

The risk of loss and title for Gift Vouchers pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the purchaser, recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. The Headpiece Collection are not responsible if a Gift Voucher is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.

The Headpiece Collection will have the right to cancel a gift voucher if a fraudulently obtained Gift Voucher is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on theheadpiececollection.com Web site.

All Gift Vouchers from The Headpiece Collection are valid for 3 years from date of purchase.

Returns

To make a return, please contact us via email first to:

1. Obtain a 'Return Authorisation Number'.

2. Shipping: Returned shipments must be received within 7 business days after receiving your item(s). The customer will be responsible for return shipping fees. Your 'Name' & 'Return Authorisation Number' should be clearly printed on the insert page inside your package.

3. Packaging: Please be sure to ship returns in original boxes or packages including inside protective wrapping.

4. Brand New Condition: Returned item(s) must be in brand new condition and not modified or altered in any way. Items must NOT be worn, soiled, or damaged.

5. Return shipping address is located on the outside of the package.

Exchanges

To make an exchange, please contact us via email first to:

1. Obtain an 'Exchange Authorisation Number'.

2. Shipping: Exchanged shipments must be received within 7 business days after receiving your item(s). The customer will be responsible for return shipping fees. Your 'Name' & 'Exchange Authorisation Number' should be clearly printed on the insert page inside your package.

3. Packaging: Please be sure to ship exchanged item(s) in original boxes or packages including inside protective wrapping.

4. Brand New Condition: Returned exchanged item(s) must be in brand new condition and not modified or altered in any way. Items must NOT be worn, soiled, or damaged.

5. Return shipping address is located on the outside of the package.

Please Note: Exchange Turn Around Time: The item(s) requested for an exchange will not be shipped until the first, original item(s) have been received by The Headpiece Collection. If you need the exchanged item(s) before we receive your original item(s), we will need to charge you the full amount for the new item(s), then, after we receive the original item(s), we will issue a credit for your original item(s).

Cooling Off Period:

Customers are entitled to a cooling-off period of 7 days, which begins on the day that they receive the product.
